Course: Engineering Operative Level 2

Requirements: If the applicant has no Maths and English GCSE they must complete functional skills as part of the apprenticeship.

Duration: 1.5 years

Description: 

Apprentice Engineering Operatives will be part of the GTL Plastics blow and injection moulding team. They will assist with and perform maintenance, setup and running of plastic moulding machinery.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Maintain, position and assemble blow and injection moulds for continuous production runs.

• Identify faults in components, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to meet customer demand.

• Liaise with maintenance and tooling teams where necessary to reinstate machines back to correct production parameters.
